Dry Before Period Or Wet

DAVID TOVAR. FROM THE HEART OF NOVEMBER BETWEEN

I have to thank my friend Juan Carlos Arjona to introduce me to the protagonist of today and that helped me with this post.
Maybe this interview, coming out in November, should be out in October, that month since David has a good custom to become the winner of the Half Marathon banks of the Tagus , has won the last 4 editions of this test and the first edition was second behind Pedro José Hernandez. .

1 - How long have you run? Do you have a story of your beginnings?
Since I was 13 at the Athletic Club Triathlon Casar and began by chance because I loved playing football and that very year, no team did in my village, I got hooked on the triathlon, I liked the atmosphere that breathing in these tests.
2 - In what career are you most satisfied?
career as a junior I have a good record at that time I was 6 th in the Duathlon World Championship in Switzerland Affoltern 2002, 2 º in European Duathlon Championships in Italy and 2 nd team 2003. Besides being Champion Iberian triathlon youth in Seville. In 2004, I was the 14th in the world championship duathlon in Belgium (gell) due to a fall on the bike (better English), which was 3 in the ranking Junior world. Besides 3 times runner-up Spain in duathlon.
3 - How what distances are you most comfortable?. What have been your best races as runer?.
I adapt better to average 10,000 and marathon. My best race so far is the half marathon in Seville - Los Palacios. (1 h 11).

4 - The toughest race and the worst you've had.

rise in the Eagle Peak and because my friend Juan Carlos Arjona I was deceived, but the best was the night before we slept quite late, and left after the race.

5 - What makes you run?

It makes me feel good physically and psychologically, it makes my life easier. I enjoy great moments through sport.

6 - How has your family and friends your love for this sport?
are already used because I have many years competing.

7 - What are your future goals? What career would you like to run? .
Well try to 1 h 10 min on average (I have 1h 11, as best brand), and 2 hours down to 30 in the marathon (I have 2 h 38).
Plus I like running in the next year, some international marathon, I love Berlin.

8 -. How do you meet people from Cáceres Marathon Club?

Although still do not know many people because I have little time, I feel very comfortable with them.

With these credentials, the ascendancy of Casar, plus entry into the Marathon Club Cáceres think we have a corridor that summarizes in itself the positive values \u200b\u200bof our Extremadura sports.

Monster Distrubution Warehouse

EXTREMADURA

Maybe this week should have been in the Half Marathon Jarandilla ., Or cross Diputación de Cáceres , or running down the slopes of Jalama: -), but .. like all who read me know, by this time I make a hole in my favorite hobby: "mushrooms."
And I must admit, I do not understand most of the people who often sad and bitter existence when it rains. I is seeing a drop in the fall and I change the face, back into the forest.

few days ago my father asked me what I really like mushrooms, so I can stop running, leaving the paddle, bike or even to friends.
And indeed, the answer is multiple:
1 - I like mushrooms to be pure gastronomic pleasure.

2 - I like mushrooms by the wealth of culture that treasures mycology.

3-I like, by contact with nature.

4 - And, above all, because they provide good times intimate and almost spiritual. I do remember the simple things that draws the humus of the mind.
POOLS
Thanks to Adrian little remembered this week that one of the greatest pleasures I have experienced as a kid was to see a beautiful pool, with the immaculate surface, like a mirror, y. .... then put their feet to the bottom. For the sheer pleasure of it.
is a good answer: I pick mushrooms for the simple pleasure of it.
And in the next entry will be writing about the sport.

Punta Cana Or Cancun In January

IV POOLS UP TO THE CASTLE OF DOOR TO START

ENJOY GROWING

This last Sunday was held the IV Subida al Castillo de Portezuelo, as is usual in this test environment sports is extraordinary.
I do not tire of repeating the achievements each year get involved in the organization. The small town turns, runs very well at lower levels where the kids can have fun, good animation, the collection of numbers, arrival at the Castle etc. ..
As we saw just a little mistake in signaling, which made us extend a little distance to all forgivable when you know that is the world of mountain races.
I am glad that my colleagues in the Marathon Club Cáceres increasingly present in greater numbers in the tests of the Federation of Mountain, and several of them go up to the podium in different categories.

In these tests are approximate distances, there is approximately 16 km (which turn out to be 17.5), two km habituallamientos approximately the 5 and 10, times are approximate (some of us stopped to help other runners), etc. ..
On a personal level I got to the test with a 4-week career coach, and two days to paddle, so my legs remembered the last leg of the race. The first 8 miles in constant rise, with a gift in the form of tremendous KM7 hard to "remember that this race is the Federation of Mountain."
After about 8 km of continuous descent on very good roads (which differed from those of last year) and where each a "fly" your way, I to 4 minutes per km. Finally, the tough climb to the castle, which everyone expected a great animation on goal.

This year the number of riders has grown, has also increased the distance, and increased hardness. A test that is enjoying a deserved growth.
I think it is hard not to break into careers in Extremadura, the challenge is to maintain that identity. Personally I would like up to the castle did not grow much more in corridors or toughness, so that we have the Pencona or Artisan, I think if you keep the identity that we have made famous castle door for awhile.

PD: I have two photos hanging here have given me great joy (and which one would go to any of my readers). The first of the reunion after 25 years with a good friend of my youth: Javier Ridruejo, my time of the Marist Salamanca with whom I shared quite a few football games and some times Macanudo.

And the second of Mario and Maria, who dared to debut on the evidence in line with a mountain race, Good for my cousin who was gobbled 17.5 km at its debut, and will be enjoying their well earned leg pain!.

Small
stories that make great popular sport.
